Alyssa
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Alyssa joined the team in July 2017. She graduated from Ocean County Vocational School in dental assisting in 2007. You can tell Alyssa enjoys her job and helping her patients by her attentiveness and concern for others. When Alyssa’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married with two little boys. She also enjoys working out, bowling, and camping.
Heather
Administrative Assistant
Heather has been in the dental field for over 15 years, with her knowledge of dental terminology and insurance she can help you understand your treatment and maximize your benefits. She is warm and friendly and wants to keep you smiling. When Heather is not working in the office, she enjoys spending time with her two boys at the beach, fishing, walking, and bike riding on the Ventnor boardwalk.
Diane
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Diane joined the Smithville Smiles team in 2024. She graduated from Cape May Technical School's post-secondary Registered Dental Assisting program in 2020. Diane has been working in the dental field since 2015. She loves making patients feel comfortable and helping them understand the dental procedures they're having done. Diane's favorite thing to do is make temporary crowns and bridges, which she is modest about, but she is exceptional at! When Diane is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughter. She also enjoys four wheeling, fishing and working out.
Lex
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with Local Anesthesia Permit
Lex decided to study dental hygiene at RCBC after many years working in a restaurant. She chose this field because of her tactile abilities from years of sculpting. It’s hard to catch her in a bad mood, she loves to laugh. When she’s not working, she enjoys creating art, being outside (as long as it’s warm) and playing with her hamsters.
Jayleen
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Jayleen’s interest in dentistry began during her own orthodontic treatment in high school, which inspired her to join the CCTEC Dental Assisting program in 2013. She has been working in the dental field since 2017 and became a valued member of the team in 2025. Jayleen finds the greatest reward in helping apprehensive patients regain their confidence through genuine, quality care. While she has always enjoyed prosthetic lab work and fabricating temporary crowns, she has recently discovered a new passion for implant dentistry. She’s committed to making your dental visit as comfortable and uplifting as possible. Outside of the office, Jayleen loves working with her hands—whether she’s tending to her garden or diving into a new creative project, and always with her loved ones.
